Boston permit lists for the trades that get hired after the builder

The permit holder already has their job. This is the work that gets hired next — CSV files of Boston building permits from the last 60 days, one row per property, tagged for the trades that follow the builder. No names or phone numbers in the files; you reach homeowners by door-knock or mail.

Who this is for — and who it isn't

For: trade businesses that win work by knocking doors and sending mail — the trades hired after a permit: landscaping, fencing, flooring, painting, cleaning, and the other finish trades. If you work a list of addresses, this is a list of addresses, sorted for your trade.

Not for: businesses that only take referrals and never reach out cold — a list won't change that. And not for anyone expecting phone numbers, homeowner names, or a subscription feed. This is a one-time file of property addresses and permit details, nothing else.

Questions before you download

Is this a subscription?
No. A pack is a one-time $49. The bundle is $99, also one-time. There is no account and nothing renews. The sample needs no card and no email.

How fresh is the data?
We rebuild every pack nightly. Other sources we compared refresh weekly or twice a month. A permit shows up in your pack after the city publishes it and our next nightly rebuild picks it up.

Is the data exclusive to me?
No. Every buyer gets the same pack, including other contractors in your trade. We don't sell territory locks. You are not paying to keep anyone out. What you pay for is the sorted list. What you do with it is up to you: who knocks the door first, and who follows up.

Can't I just pull this from the city?
You can — permit records are public. The pack is the sorting: the last 60 days, one row per property, tagged for the trades that get hired after the builder. Doing that by hand is the slow part. It's $49 so you don't have to.

What do I do with a list that has no phone numbers?
Knock on the door or send mail. That is the design. The files hold property addresses and permit details, not homeowner names or phone numbers. Use the address and the permit type to decide who gets a visit or a letter.

What if it isn't useful?
Ask within 7 days (hello@lineanswered.com) and we refund the $49. No questions.
